We are a company who wants to bring free automotive repair guides to the internet. So let me tell you all how this started. About 2 years ago I was working on a Saturday and one of our guys was doing a timing belt on his own car. Simple enough. The first time he installed it ,he put it on wrong and we laughed at his trouble. The second time he still got it wrong. So he called me and another guy over. We looked at the instructions and both shook our heads. The worst part is we actually pay for the use of their database, I won't say who it is. Well it was that moment I asked myself how come when we pay for a part does it not come with assembly instructions. You buy a bike it comes with instructions, you buy a garbage disposal it comes with instructions, you buy a computer it comes with instructions. Nobody charges you for these so why do we have to pay for instructions when we purchase part's ?
You can learn to do all sort's of things on the internet, build a house ,open heart surgery, washer repair, etc. Yet try to find out how to install your timing belt without paying money ,it's a pain in the ass, you may be able to but chances are you'll have to pay. Well we are going to try to put an end to that, but it's going to take the help of you the user to submit articles and help build a database that everyone can use for free . When we get big enough we hope to bring to all the world's langauges so everyone can access it. We have a long way to go and I hope everyone who takes the time to read this ask's themself the same question I did that day. Why do we have to pay for instruction's?? And to all the doubter's, ask yourself when the last time you saw an encylopedia for sale?

MechanixTrix contains the features of Online Article Management along with the supporting documents.
- User can create the Articles online. HTML Editor is provided to create the interactive articles.
- Standard template(s) are provided to the user to create an article.
- Any User can change/update the contents of any Article that he/she is currently viewing under a specific category. User can change the contents of this page. The HTML Editor will be available in editable form.
- Document versions are maintained after creation of each document and after every updating of that document.
- User can upload the supporting documents/Image files/Video Files. Web interface will be provided to upload the supporting files.
- Existing Images Library; all the uploaded Documents, Images and video will be available in Library so that other users can link these images/videos/documents to their Articles. Upload of an image and video is not allowed if an image with the same name already exists in the database.
